Emergency First Aid at Work

What is adequate will depend on the circumstances in the workplace. This includes whether trained First Aiders or Appointed Persons are needed, what should be included in a First Aid box and if a First Aid room is needed. Employers should carry out an assessment of first aid needs to determine this. All persons completing the course will receive a collage Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate.

At the end of the course candidates will be competent in the following:

• Managing an incident
• Resuscitation
• Control of bleeding
• Unconsciousness
• Burns and scalds
• Fractures
• First Aid kit/box contents

This Emergency Aid course is 6 hours in duration plus assessment usually held at our King's Lynn or Wisbech campus. Alternatively, we can deliver this to groups of your employees at a time and place to suit your business, please contact us to discuss group sizes and to obtain a training proposal.

This course is appropriate for those who wish to gain a fundamental understanding of emergency first aid principles and practices.
