Website Accessibility
Most browsers have the ability to change the size of the text on webpages. The text size function can usually be found in the view menu, with a number of different size settings to choose from. Holding control on the keyboard and scrolling the mouse wheel will also function similarly.
Subtitles on videos
All of our videos have been transcribed and subtitled. In order to view the subtitles, click the “CC” button at the bottom of the player.
About the website
The College of West Anglia’s website aims to be highly accessible for all users. The site uses the very latest coding techniques that adhere to web standards, which means that the information on the site is accessible to any user irrespective of the platform they are using. Accordingly, access for disabled people and people using other mobile web devices is maximised.
Languages
This website is available to view in a range of languages. You can change the language used at the bottom of each page. This tool is powered by Google Translate.

Preparation of this accessibility statement
This statement was prepared on 31.10.2019 It was last reviewed on 5.07.2021.
This website was last tested on 05.07.2021. The test was carried out by Optima Design.
A full and thorough test was carried out on all aspects of the website using a variety of methods and tools including screen reader technology (VoiceOver), keyboard only control, W3C Validator tool, WAVE browser plugin, WebAIM contrast checker, and AXE browser plugin.
Each page template was checked, in a variety of browsers including Chrome, Safari and Firefox, against success criterion for both WCAG 2.1 A and WCAG 2.1 AA standards using the above tools and a checklist was written detailing how each section of the website conformed to the standards.
Where one page template was used to output multiple pages (e.g. course pages), a wide selection of pages were also checked to ensure compliance with the standards.
